ELT Concourse

This is a free resource for English Language teachers, teachers in training, teacher trainers and learners of English.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

To All Users of ELT Concourse. For many years now this extensive ELT resource has been made available anonymously, and free of charge to everyone. It was created, developed, and maintained over many years by one person, Dave Russell. It was Dave’s vision that such a resource should always be open to all and free to all.

In July of this year, Dave sadly passed away after a short illness. His extensive knowledge of all things within the ELT world is quite simply irreplaceable.

For many years Dave worked as the ELT consultant for our organisation. At his request, and as a tribute to Dave we have agreed to maintain the provision of ELT Concourse in the manner that he would have wished. That is available to all and free of charge. However, the only person who would be capable of further development is Dave himself, and as he is no longer with us, we have decided to freeze the content of ELT Concourse as of this moment.

Dave’s commitment to teacher training and development is very well known within our profession; this is why he invested so much of his time in this website. With this in mind, we very much hope that this amazing resource will benefit all ELT professionals for many years to come so that Dave’s legacy to the ELT profession will live on in the future.

The Directors of Elac Study Vacations and Dave’s Close Friends.

ELT Concourse carries no advertising, does not allow promotional links from materials and does not require its users to sign up or register to access any part of the site.  It doesn't use cookies, either, or gather any information from users except that which you submit.

You can read the charter in PDF format which sets things out in more detail.

The only exception to the non-commercial links rule is to note that the domain name and the server facilities for this site have been kindly donated by ARHosting Solutions, who are, of course, not responsible for any of the content.
Without their help including virtually instant, courteous and knowledgeable support, this site would not be possible.
